A Halloween

The day after Halloween is a very hard day for many children.

Some kids feel cranky because they had TOOO MUCH Candy and not enough dinner.

Some kids feel tired because they stayed up too late or walked too much trick or treating.

This is what happened to Lia Belle and Phoebe Kate. Lia Belle is four years old, so she had done this before. But for Phoebe Kate it was her first halloween.

Lia Belle ran to the neighbors doors as fast as she could, while Phoebe Kate toddled behind, trying to keep up.

Lia Belle rang the door and said "Trick or Treat".

Phoebe ran up behind and said "twick o tweet."

Lia Belle said "Thank you! Happy Halloween!"

Phoebe Kate said " tank ooo!"

Then their mommy and daddy took them home to see what treats they recieved.

Lia Belle and Phoebe Kate sucked on suckers, chewed on gum, and melted chocolate in their hands.

When their mommy said, "Time for bed!" Lia Belle and Phoebe Kate ran and hid behind the couch because they wanted to stay up and eat more candy.

Their mommy said, "Time to brush you teeth." But Lia Belle and Phoebe Kate did not want to brush their teeth, their mommy had to do it for them.

Lia Belle and Phoebe Kate stayed awake in their beds, dreaming about ghosts, princesses, trick or treating, and all the candy they would eat in the morning.
